TACHS accepts resumes on an on-going basis for On-Site Resident Managers. As we develop new affordable housing projects, we will need quality personnel to staff them. When positions become available, the Manager of Operations will contact qualified persons to arrange for interviews.
Resident Manager
Position Summary
Under the direction of the Manager of Operations, the Resident Manager will provide over site and property management services, including routine maintenance, to units occupied by low-income, special needs individuals. The Resident Manager will live on site.
Duties and responsibilities
- Establish and maintain a professional relationship with the residents and staff at the property.
- Collect monthly rents, record monthly rent roll, and maintain all documentation relating to each rental unit.
- Attend TACHS meetings and report all repair requests to the TACHS Maintenance Supervisor.
- Maintain all tenant files, including waiting lists, rent records, tenant notices, etc.
- Participate in the screening process of all potential applicants for the property.
- Complete re-certification paperwork and related tenant eligibility requirements.
- Complete regular inspection of the units, common areas, and ingress/egress areas to assure appropriate safety mechanisms are functioning properly.
- Work closely with the Case Manager, Social Service Coordinator and TACHS staff for the benefit of providing a supportive environment in partnership with the residents.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Executive Director, Property Management Supervisor, and the TACHS Board of Directors.
